JCIO 36/22
Date: 25 January 2022
A spokesperson for the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office said:
Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb DBE, on behalf of the Lord Chief Justice, and with the Lord Chancellor’s agreement, has issued Dr Elisabeth Hopman JP of the Norfolk Bench with a formal warning. Dr Hopman committed three speeding offences in just over a year, resulting in nine penalty points. In reaching their decision, they took into consideration that Dr Hopman also delayed reporting the most recent offence to her bench.
