A spokesperson for the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office said:

The Lord Chancellor and the Lord Chief Justice have removed Mr Makundkumar Vashee JP, of the South London Local Justice Area, from the magistracy for failure to comply with a requirement to notify his bench chairman that he was subject to professional disciplinary proceedings in his profession as an architect. q>
