Complaints about magistrates

The JCIO is unable to respond to, or redirect, complaints about magistrates (justices of the peace).

Complaints must be sent to the relevant advisory committee within three months of the matter complained of. Complaints must be in writing.

Please use the table below to obtain the correct contact details.

Please note that these contact details are for allegations of misconduct on the part of magistrates. The advisory committee will not be able to help with queries about live cases before the courts or fine accounts.
