A spokesperson for the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office said:
The Lord Chief Justice has, with the Lord Chancellor’s agreement, issued Ian Latimer JP of the Worcestershire Bench with a formal warning for failing to meet the minimum sittings requirement of his appointment. In reaching their decision, they took in to consideration Mr Latimer’s previously unblemished record of service as a magistrate.
