A spokesperson for the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office said:
The Lord Chancellor and the Lord Chief Justice have removed Mr Terry Livingstone, of the London South Bench, from the magistracy for failing, without reasonable excuse, to meet the sittings requirement of his appointment.
