STATEMENT FROM THE JUDICIAL CONDUCT

INVESTIGATIONS OFFICE

Mr Adam Pamment JP

A spokesperson for the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office said:

Mr Adam Pamment, a magistrate assigned to the West London Bench, was subject to an investigation into his conduct following his failure to give full and frank disclosure of a known family connection between his partner and a convicted sex offender. He was also investigated for various postings on social media which would damage the public perception of the magistracy. The Lord Chancellor and the Lord Chief Justice considered that Mr Pamment’s actions fell seriously below the standard expected of a magistrate and have removed him from the magistracy.
